Indeed I have something to post!

Was surfing the net and watching youtube make-up videos, reading up on cosmetic tips at Flowerpod and Cozycot!

Okay, so personally... Amanda Matilda loves to meddle with eye make-up. She even bought a 88 colour eye palette so that she can fully practice good eye make-up. And then you will actually come to know that:

Different skin tones suit different eye-shadows! And personally I feel that the most difficult colour to deal with is actually Blue. Well blue eye shadows are actually very common but as you know:

Start observing people who apply blue eyeshadow next time, sometimes when they go too harsh on the blue pigment they actually look like trans or just plain weird. I swear! For me, I hardly apply blue because I cannot really find the right blend to suit my age. Somehow after applying blue colour I feel really weird. But there was once I tried meddling blue with white, and it kinda turned into a very nice silverish blue effect!

But still peeepo, my favourite colour of all time is still brown. Brown is neutral and natural. It gives a very classy and demeanor feel ( if you apply it correctly la ). And usually I love to use brown eyeshadow and apply it at the inner eyelids. Kinda defines the eye further but it gives a more natural look compared to using black eyeliner/eyeshadow for the inner eyelid.

Sometimes when I do that smokey look, which involves nothing but black eyeshadow and eyeliner, I have friends telling me that they feel I have alot of makeup on. But the deal is, if you don't apply the black fully at the eyelids, the smokey effect doesn't comes out! But my personal experience tells me that when you take pictures with smokey eyes, they usually turn out more appealing and that gives that sexy appeal! '

Oh hey, with a very young mother under the roof, I was also constantly reminded that for teenagers, sometimes too much make-up is really redundant, she feels that by applying too much make-up, it covers up the natural beauty and radiance a teenager should have! But to a certain extent, I beg to differ. We have pimples and zits, and come on, not everyone is lucky enough to have skin like Dakota Fanning (my idol hehe)! We tend to look dull due to late night sleeping isn't it?

Personally I have to admit I have skin problems. Pores,pimples,blackheads,acne(sometimes). They affect my overall look tremendously (like duh la). I'm gonna leave the doctor products aside, but usually people with skin problems like me will find that by applying blusher, it just seems to further enhance the redness around the cheeks(affected areas). Which is why I tend to avoid applying blusher. But which girl doesn't wants to look all dolly with that natural touch of pinky on the cheeks. WHO? Ya lor, which is why I bought one, and sometimes it really turned out fine. Hehe!

For girls with fair skin, you can buy any shade imo. Just like be reminded that you should just apply it in the right amount, don't over do it, you will look like monkey's butt! -_-

For girls with tanner skin, buy blushers that are more towards the orange tone. Works better. I know that ~ Miranda is tanner and orange blushers work well on her.

THIS IS DEFINITELY THE CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT TOOLS IN MY MAKEUP POUCH.. YES YES YES. They instantly brighten up your eyes. They make your eyes appear larger!

Personally I only use liquid eyeliner, the black is more concentrated compared to using a pencil eyeliner. But ya la my advice to people who have just started to use eyeliner will be to use a pencil eyeliner, cheaper and easier to use. Then move on to liquid eyeliner. Please remember to buy those with very fine brushes so that the lines you draw are fine! OK?

As for Mascara, the common ones are L'oreal ZA bla bla bla. Mascara really helps you make your eyes look more awake. Reaaaally. Curl them before applying though!

AHAHA, nothing great really but I just feel like sharing them leh! Anyway I feel really happy when I put in effort into my blog posts. Its like a hobby ah. HAHA. That's when I have something to post la. Hmm. So ya

ANOTHER THING, I really really wanna change my concealers/foundation. To achieve a flawless(close to) look, Think need to invest in good products. So I went to scout around and I've decided to settle with Bobbi Brown stuff. Never tried their products before but I read reviews about it and the response was highly positive! Sooo yes, I'm gonna get these next month when I get my allowance HAHAHA.
